Woodhaven Boulevard Station, Queens, NY
TPI provided Special Inspection and Material Testing Services for The Woodhaven BLVD Station renovation project which included new street to platform elevators and stairs in Queens.
Twin Peaks assumed responsibility for and performed all special and progress inspection services identified by the project’s Engineer(s) and Architect(s) of Record and approved by the NYC Department of Buildings as required items for the issuance of permits and Temporary and Final Certificates of Occupancy.
The Woodhaven Boulevard Station is an elevated station located at the intersection of Woodhaven Blvd and Jamaica Avenue in the Borough of Queens. It serves the J & Z trains.
Given that Woodhaven Boulevard subway station serves as the primary access point to Forest Park upgrades and improvements to this station are not only necessary but also immensely valuable to the surrounding community. Enhancing the station’s facilities and accessibility features will further benefit residents and visitors, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable journey to and from the park, while promoting the overall well-being and quality of life for those who rely on this crucial transportation hub.
