Construction Inspectors & Engineers (ICC, ACI, CWI, etc.)

Twin Peaks Inc is currently looking to hire a Construction Inspectors & Engineers (ICC, ACI, CWI, etc.) to join our dynamic team in NY.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The following will be some of the requirements, but will not be limited to:

The position includes traveling to various project sites on a daily basis, and using applicable field testing procedures and testing equipment to perform required field and building inspections and testing as required by the project to determine compliance with project plans and specifications.
Preparation of Daily Field Reports, communication of deficiencies observed in the field to project managers, contractors, and/or client representatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Construction Inspectors must have a HS Diploma and / or equivalent. Additional certifications or education is a plus. Candidate must have valid certifications in the following areas:
- ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician – Grade I
- ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector
- ICC Structural Steel & Bolting Special Inspector
- ICC Structural Welding Special Inspector
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering
Must have OSHA-10, OSHA – 30 is plus.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Understanding of the fundamentals of building inspection codes and requirements in order to carry out testing, including, but not limited to, International Building Codes, ASTM Standards, and TMS standards.
Must have valid, clean driver’s license and personal vehicle to travel to and transport testing equipment to various project sites primarily throughout the New York City metro area, as regular daily travel is required.
