Hakeem Shawabkeh PE, Ph.D (Candidate), Project Manager. Mr. Shawabkeh holds a Ph.D. candidacy in Civil Engineering from Ohio University, a MSC degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation Engineering from the University of Jordan, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Hashemite University.

 

Mr. Shawabkeh has extensive experience in geotechnical, pavement analysis & pavement engineering, Special Inspection, non-destructive testing, project management and testing where he worked for the past 2 years. Overall, Mr. Hakeem has over 11 years of experience in the field of Engineering and Construction.

 

Further, Mr. Shawabkeh’s hands-on experience encompasses site exploration, soil testing, lateral and axial analysis for steel and concrete piles, as well as, software proficiency in LPILE, APILE, gINT, and open road designer (ORD). Mr. Shawabkeh has successfully overseen lime and cement subgrade stabilization processes, installed instrumentation for soil and pavement evaluation, and conducted back-calculation of subgrade resilient modulus.

 

At the Ohio Research Institute for Transportation and the Environment, Mr. Shawabkeh has contributed significantly to geotechnical and pavement research & reports. His experience with various pavement testing has provided crucial pavement design parameters.
